Thank you for your interest in participating in Montclair United Soccer Club’s second town wide recreation league soccer tournament, the Soccer Scramble. We hope the following information assists you in deciding to compete.
 
Each team will play in a minimum of two tournament games on Saturday and two tournament games on Sunday.

 

 

We plan to accept the first five teams from each of our town league divisions that submit a completed registration packet and payment. Additional teams will be placed on a waiting list.   

 

 

Everyone is welcome to form a team to compete in this tournament, however all players must be currently enrolled and playing in MUSC's recreation or travel league for the current spring season. 

 

 

Coaches must hold a minimum of 3 team practices before the start of the tournament.

 

 

Coed rosters must include a minimum of 2 (two) female players.

 

 

Rosters must include a minimum of 2/3 recreation players, (no more than 1/3 of the team may be travel only players.

 

 

Players must agree to play on your team and turn in payment to you before your registration packet is complete.

 

 

All coaches must complete a “Kid Safe” form, if they have not already done so, and submit it with the registration packet.

 

 

The minimum number of players on a roster for the coed division is 13. The minimum number of players on a roster for 2-5 grade division is 9, the minimum for first grade is 7.

 

 

All players must play a minimum of half of each game

 

 

The cost to participate is $18.00 per player ($30 per player if ordering new jerseys)

 

 

Every player goes home with a participation medal or a trophy.
